Don’t miss out on this year’s #SKYWARN storm spotter training from the National Weather Service hosted by Lincoln Park CERT.
NWS has announced that in their ongoing nationwide effort to contain/prevent the spread of the coronavirus, all remaining SkyWarn Spotter Training sessions this spring have been cancelled. The National Weather Service does offer online spotter training for those interested at https://www.meted.ucar.edu/training_course.php?id=23
In late May and/or early June, NWS Detroit will still conduct online spotter training webinars. We will post those dates to our web page at a later time. Although we are unfortunately unable to meet with our spotters in person this spring, we will still look forward to receiving your spotter reports this upcoming severe weather season.
